CALGARY, ALTA.—Trimac Transportation is pleased to announce its intent to acquire all shares of Service Transport Company (STC), a leading provider of chemical hauling services in the U.S., with a targeted close date of Oct. 1, 2025.

Founded in 1965 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, STC operates 16 locations and four tank wash facilities throughout the Gulf Coast region.  
The company has built a strong reputation for safe and reliable service across the chemical sector. These products are also at the heart of Trimac’s chemical franchise, creating natural alignment and opportunities to serve customers together with even greater scale and expertise.

STC was awarded the Heil Trophy in the Harvison Division in 2021 by the National Tank Truck Carriers (NTTC), placing it among North America’s safest carriers. This distinction aligns closely with Trimac’s own history as a Heil Trophy winner, underscoring the shared commitment to operational excellence that unites our two organizations.  

Customers at both STC and Trimac can expect the same reliable service they have always received.
