Trimac Acquires Montreal Tank Wash

Calgary, AB – Trimac Transportation (“Trimac”) announced today that it has acquired Montreal Tank Wash. The transaction is expected to close in early May. The purchase complements the existing portfolio of Trimac and its network of maintenance and wash racks within National Tank Services (NTS), and further expands coverage and capabilities in the inspection, repair, certification, and cleaning services for the bulk transportation industry.

Montreal Tank Wash was founded in 1976 and operates an eight-wash bay facility in Anjou, QC. Martin Jones, Co-Owner of Montreal Tank Wash, will continue to oversee daily operations.

“We are excited to have Montreal Tank Wash as part of the Trimac family,” said Matt Faure, President & CEO of Trimac Transportation. “This expands our presence in the Montreal market and consolidates our operations in Quebec. We look forward to continuing the positive relationships that have been built with customers over the years.”

The Trimac/NTS Pointe-Claire terminal will be relocated in Anjou following the acquisition on May 14, 2021.
