Trimac is proud to announce its participation in the Women In Trucking Association’s (WIT) 2025 Accelerate! Conference & Expo, held Nov. 9–12, 2025 in Dallas, Texas. The annual event—attended by Annelisa Shaw, Trimac’s Director, People Partners—brought together more than 1,000 industry professionals and over 130 exhibitors to advance and promote the careers of women in the trucking sector.
During the conference, Trimac was recognized as one of the overall 2025 Top Companies for Women to Work in Transportation, alongside 83 other companies in the industry. The annual list recognizes companies that prioritize gender diversity, professional development, flexible work conditions and career advancement opportunities for women.
“Earning a place on this distinguished list requires companies to embody the values and actions that define true commitment to attracting, retaining and engaging more skilled, qualified women as a core business strategy,” said Brian Everett, publisher of Redefining the Road, WIT’s official magazine.
“Qualifying…involves two steps. First, each nomination is carefully reviewed to ensure it meets a minimum threshold of qualifications, and then industry professionals cast their votes to determine the final honorees. Now in its eighth year, this recognition program generated more than 21,000 votes, underscoring the depth of engagement and industry-wide support to advancing women in the trucking industry.”
The event also celebrated the 2025 Top Women to Watch in Transportation, where two Trimac leaders received this prestigious honor: Karen Tsang, Vice-President, Revenue Operations, and Shannon Rigg, Vice-President, Operations Northwest. In previous years, This recognition highlights the strength of Trimac’s female leaders and their meaningful impacts on the organization.
Trimac is committed to empowering women and fostering an inclusive workplace that creates equal opportunities for all.
