CALGARY, Alta.—Trimac has been named a finalist in two categories for Trucking HR Canada’s 2026 Top Fleet Employer Awards: HR Innovator and Top Large Fleet.
Trimac is one of three Canadian trucking and logistics organizations shortlisted in each category and follows its recognition as a 2026 Top Fleet Employer for the eighth consecutive year.

The Achievement of Excellence for HR Innovator Award recognizes a Top Fleet Employer that takes a creative and forward-thinking approach to its human resources initiatives through the introduction of new technologies, programs or ideas that provide meaningful solutions for their people and business. The Top Large Fleet Award recognizes the large fleet that achieves the highest overall results through the annual Top Fleet Employers assessment.
The finalists in each category earned the highest scores through Trucking HR Canada’s 2026 assessment process, which evaluates candidates across several areas, including skills development, workplace culture, team member engagement, recruitment, compensation, sustainability, community involvement and innovative HR practices.
Trucking HR Canada will announce the winners during the 13th annual Top Fleet Employers Awards Gala on Oct. 14 in Toronto, Ont. All 98 organizations named Top Fleet Employers for 2026 will also be recognized during the event.
