Trimac’s Associate Program is designed to support the entrepreneurial drive of an independent trucking company with the resources it requires to grow and prosper. Our program capitalizes on the strengths of both partners by maximizing assets employed for the betterment of both parties. To put it another way, "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts."

Brief Program Outline

• Operations are still managed by the Associate.
• Staff will remain employees of the Associate.
• Independent Contractors are leased to Trimac.
• Associate will typically own their power units.
• Associates will maintain power and dedicated trailing equipment.
• Trimac may purchase a portion of your trailing fleet (if you so desire) and lease them back to you on a monthly basis.
• Operating authority would be a Trimac operating company.
• Associate comes under the umbrella of Trimac’s liability insurance.
