With sixty-six (66) branches throughout the U.S., Trimac is uniquely qualified to respond to most service demands in our nation's key bulk commodity shipping locations and traffic lanes. Trimac’s association with Inter-Mex and Jorge Ancer complements the Canada-US-Mexico transportation activities.

In the U.S., Trimac operates over 1,300 tractors and 2,500 bulk trailers.  Over 1,500 of these trailers are of the MC-307/DOT-407, stainless steel variety, and more than 650 trailers haul various dry bulk commodities, including cement, coal, fly ash, lime and dry plastics. Trimac also has 5 company-owned cryogenic CO2 trailers.  Trimac utilizes both independent contractors and company drivers.  The ratio of company equipment to independent contractor is 1.4 to 1.  All independent contractors’ equipment is under lease to Trimac and is operated under the same stringent maintenance and safety program as company owned equipment. Drivers for independent contractors are also subject to the same hiring, safety and performance requirements as company drivers.  Over ninety percent (95%) of Trimac's company drivers and owner operators are non-union.  The remaining three percent (3%) focuses on a variety of specialized services.

Forty-nine percent (49%) of Trimac Transportation Inc’s. trucking revenue comes from its liquid chemical hauling, principally in the Eastern and Gulf Coast regions of the United States; Eight (8%) percent comes from petroleum related products, primarily in the Rocky Mountains and Southwest U.S.; twenty-four percent (24%) in industrial gases and fourteen percent (14%) of its trucking revenue is inedible dry bulk shipments, predominantly serviced by its dry bulk and mining services operations in Texas and the Rocky Mountain states.

Trimac Transportation Inc’s. revenue for 2008 is budgeted at $328 million (US Funds).  Trimac also has a fifty percent (50%) ownership position in Harris Transportation, a Portland, Oregon based petroleum hauler with annual revenues of $22 million.
