Trimac utilizes both independent contractor and company drivers. The current ratio of independent contractor to company equipment is approximately 1.6 to 1. All independent contractors’ equipment is operated under the same stringent maintenance and safety program that company equipment is subject to. Drivers for independent contractors are also subject to the same hiring, safety and performance requirements as company drivers.

Forty-four percent (44%) of its trucking revenue is dry shipments, predominantly servicing the forest, construction and manufacturing industries throughout Canada. The remaining thirty-eight percent (38%) focuses on petroleum based products throughout Canada.
Trimac’s revenue for 2008 is budgeted at $339 million (CDN).
