AMBER Alert Highway Network
As the first few hours in the search for an abducted child are critical to the safe recovery of these young victims, Trimac is proud to be able to lend a supporting hand.
The mission of the AMBER Alert Highway Network is to help save lives and reunite abducted children with their loved ones. Once law enforcement has determined that a child has been abducted, law enforcement notifies broadcasters and state transportation officials. AMBER Alerts interrupt regular programming and are broadcast on radio, television, mobile phones and on highway signs.
The U.S. Department of Justice reports that more than 260,000 children are abducted every year. The AMBER Alert Highway Network is dedicated to doing everything possible to recover and protect these children.
Trimac, along with a network of other program participants, have thousands of trucks on the road every day. These important alerts can be delivered to nearby drivers so that they may help in the search for an abducted child.
