Changing Your Password
Please follow these instructions to Change Your Password in Self-Service:
The first thing you want to do once you login successfully is change your password and set up a forgotten password hint question.
On the main Menu page click on the Change My Password link.
You will be asked to enter your current password, enter a new password, and confirm your new password.
- You must change your password to one with a minimum of 8 characters including one number and one special character (ie; * @ %). NOTE: if you use capital letters for your password, you must always use capital letters when logging in with your new password.
Click the CHANGE PASSWORD button.
Click the OK button to save your new password and return to the General Profile Information page. If your new password has been updated, you will receive the message “Your password has successfully been changed.”
Set up a Password Hint Question (see below).

Setting Up Your Password Hint Question
If you forget your password you can have a new password e-mailed to you if you correctly answer your password hint question.
On the main Menu page click on the My System Profile link.
On the General Profile Information page:
- Click on the Edit Email Addresses link and enter the e-mail address where you would like your password to be sent.
- Then click on the Change or set up forgotten password help link.
- Edit Email Addresses – Check mark the Primary Email Account box and choose Home for the Email Type. Enter your email address into the Email Address field, then hit OK.

You will be asked to make up a “hint” question, provide the answer to the question, then hit OK.
This question must be correctly answered in order to have your password e-mailed to you so make it something you can remember, but is not easy for someone else to figure out.
If you forget your password click the Forgot Your Password? link on the login screen. You will be asked to answer your password hint question. When you answer it correctly your new password will be e-mailed to you.
